I have multiple VHS tapes of movies, one of them being a recordable tape. VHS is a type of magnetic tape along with cassettes, floppy disks, LTO, and lots of others. VHS was made in 1973 and became obsolete in the 2000s; however, they were last mainly produced in July 2016.
